This summer, my amazing friends from The R2 Studio were on Oahu again. They really have a love for Hawaii! Seriously, although they are based in Arizona, they have a home here and visit at least a few times a year to shoot weddings, and have a little R&R. If you are getting married on any of the Hawaiian islands HIT THEM UP!!

Last year, we did an anniversary session on the beach. So this time, Renee told me that she, and her wife Robin, really wanted something with mountains. I knew the perfect place, Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens! The mountain view is some of the most beautiful on the island. The lush green area, the lake and the mountains in one photo! We had a bit of a cloudy, drizzly morning but it all added some amazing beauty to their session.

In addition, this year all four of their children came along, so of course, I had to capture them individually and all together.
