It feels like just yesterday that I was doing Baby Marley’s newborn session, and now she is turning one!

Marley wasn’t nearly as excited as we were about her birthday, but she still slipped a few smiles out for us. She wasn’t a fan of her cake—or the cake getting into her hands—but we made it happen! Mom and I both agreed that the tears at the end were great anyway and really captured the realness of the moment.

Marley got dressed up in her tutu and pearls for this special occasion, and she was such a great sport as Mom and I tried to coax her into playing! She just looked so sweet, even if she didn’t want to at times.

Marley, thanks so much for coming by my studio! I can’t wait to watch you and your sisters continue to grow!
