The Jones family is about to embark on a new adventure, courtesy of the military, and so they’ll be leaving the island soon. Mom’s family is from Oahu, so it was particularly difficult to say goodbye to everyone. She contacted me to do a session with the family before they left so that they could have photos of their time in Oahu—and so they had keepsakes to give to the grandparents.

The evening session was absolutely beautiful, with beautiful skies and well-behaved children! (Well, as long as we had the littlest one playing in the water, she was perfect! We got a great shot in there where you can see just how upset she was that we pulled her out of the water for more pictures—she decided to just throw herself on the ground next to Mom!) It was a great day at the beach for all of us.

To this wonderful family—thank you so much for letting me be your Oahu family photographer and a part of the next phase of your lives. I know moving is a scary thing, but I’m sure that you’re going to have a blast in your new adventures! Good luck!
