Derek and Brittney came to Hawaii to celebrate five blissful years of marriage, and these old friends of mine asked me to capture their memories on this momentous occasion with a beautiful Oahu Sunset Session.

I first met Derek and Brittney on a Mexican Riviera cruise a few years ago and was struck by Brittney’s ever-positive vibe that everyone easily gravitates to and Derek’s easygoing, cool, collected persona that perfectly complements her style. Years later, we’re still in touch, and I love getting to see them when I get the chance!

On the evening of the session, we met up on the west side of Oahu, where the elements combined to provide us with a rare backdrop for the two of them. The tide was unusually high, but it provided a velvet-like platform as they stood proudly on the reef. We were blessed with another beautiful sunset for this Oahu sunset session.

I’m beyond honored that I was able to capture another milestone in the lives of my friends. I look forward to many years celebrating love and friendship with these two and wish them strength, dedication, and unending love for each other.
