I was so excited to see Quinn and her family for her newborn photos. I looked forward to this session not only because I couldn’t wait to meet this little girl, but because I’d done her big sister’s images only two short years ago!

I could hardly believe how much Quinn’s big sister, Remy, had grown. It was clear to me that these two girls were going to be the best of friends. Quinn really is lucky to have such a loving big sister.

And just like her sister, Quinn needed a lot of snuggles and food. There is just something about that 10-day mark that calls for extra feeding sessions, since babies hit growth spurts right around that time. Once we got her tummy nice and full, Quinn settled in beautifully and was ready for her photo debut.

Mom and Grandma brought fresh flowers to the session, with most of them coming from Grandma’s garden. The pop of color they added was just amazing. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite ways to photograph babies—with fresh florals all around them. 🙂

We were also able to get a few pictures of Remy while Quinn was eating, to celebrate her second birthday. What a ham she is! All of her different expressions were so precious. She and Quinn were just too adorable. I can’t get enough of these girls!

Thank you again, R family, for bringing the girls to me! It has been such a pleasure to know you folks for the last two years and watch your family grow.
