I will be so sad to say goodbye to this family! I’ve known Mom and Dad for 3 years—and I’ve been photographing Maddie since before she was born! I did Mom and Dad’s maternity photos, then newborn photos and a few milestones in the past few years. But now, they are moving from Hawaii to Alaska, so they wanted to get in one more session before they left the island.

We all met for a sunrise session—Mom, Dad, Maddie, and Aunty Lynne. That sunrise was probably one of the most beautiful mornings I have been able to photograph! This wonderful family was so great to work with, even when we had to wake up that early! Aunty Lynne is Dad’s sister and has been Maddie’s caretaker while they were here, and I love that they included her in this session.
