In April of this year, I had the honor of photographing Adriana and Andrew for their maternity photos. Mom-to-be Adriana was due a few months later, and they knew they would be naming their baby boy Archer.

Both Adriana and Andrew are on active duty military, so they have seen some amazing places. Adriana wanted a country feel for the shoot—which is pretty difficult to find when you are surrounded by beaches and palm trees, but I was on the lookout. I came across this area just driving along, literally an old service road that no one ever goes down anymore, and it was perfect!

I especially love the moment when the sun was going down and I was able to capture the skyline and Adriana sitting below the log, talking to baby Archer.
